It just amazes me how unreliable and arrogant some computer companies are.

When you call them for help, you end up talking to their voice mail. Then when you finally get them on the phone, they make you wait hours -- even days -- before they can actually come out to see you. The Real Reasons iOS 4.1 is Important
Only two days left until Apple releases the first major upgrade to the iOS 4 mobile operating system on Wednesday, September 8. Apple lists a number of enhancements and features that will be added with iOS 4.1, but the things that make iOS 4.1 a critical update are buried in the Apple fine print.
Apple lets slip iOS 4.1 coming 8 September
Apple's latest mobile OS software update is due to be released on Wednesday 8 September. Apple's UK website briefly listed the date before reverting to: "Coming soon."
